Associate Consultant
I help organisations evaluate and review the adequacy and evidence for their existing selection procedures and can suggest ways to improve them. Personnel selection also involves the identification of specific employment outcomes (e.g., job performance, occupational health, job satisfaction) and I use a combination of psychological (e.g., intention to leave), behavioural (e.g., sick leave data), and biological (e.g., stress hormones, BMI) data to define these outcomes. I can also use existing organisational data (e.g., medical sick leave data) and/or collect new data to examine these issues and provide cost-benefits analyses based on different personnel selection scenarios. For example, adjusting personnel selection criteria to be higher or lower and presenting the relative cost-benefit profiles of such changes so that organisations can make informed decisions in line with their existing or changing goals and priorities.
